CYP Upper: Eco Squad News!
The Eco Squad have been working extremely hard this year and have made a fantastic contribution to our school environment.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

This week EPS netball teams have had their first netball matches of the season against Norbury Manor and Winterbourne Against Norbury Manor, EPS first team, captained by Amiah, played very well -once they settled down and took at 2:0 lead.
Whether it’s lacing up fresh trainers before a match, hearing the roar of the crowd as you step onto the pitch, nailing a perfect shot or celebrating a last-minute win with your teammates — how would you describe the ultimate sports moment?
On Wednesday 26th November, Year 5 enjoyed an exciting and informative visit from our local police officers.
It has been another hectic week at the Upper School. We began Friendship week with the assembly theme, “How can I make a positive difference in our school community?”
Our Year 6 pupils had an exciting and educational day out at Kew Gardens, where they took part in a fascinating workshop on Evolution and Adaptation—perfectly complementing their science topics Evolution and Inheritance and Living Things and Their Habitats.
On Wednesday, Jupiter Class visited the ‘Petrie Museum of Egyptian and Sudanese Archaeology’ as part of their thematic studies.
Yesterday, Year 6 at EPS visited the Natural History Museum in South Kensington to learn about evolution – a topic they have been studying since September.
As we look forward to the half term break, we can reflect on a very busy first half term.

Year 6 Brings Carnival to Life for Black History Month! Last Friday, the corridors of our school pulsed with rhythm, colour, and joy as Year 6 hosted a spectacular Carnival celebration in honour of Black History Month.
This morning, Jupiter class in Year 6 at EPS presented a fantastic assembly about the suffragettes and how women fought for the right to vote 150 years ago.
This week it is ‘Black History and Cultural Diversity Week‘ across the Pegasus Academy Trust.
Another busy week at Atwood! In Nursery, the children have been thinking about families and the number 2.
On Wednesday, the Year 6 children from Atwood took a trip to the Natural History Museum as part of their learning about evolution and inheritance.
