Road Safety Week We have been focusing on Road Safety this week at Cypress and the children have enjoyed learning more about keeping safe on our roads.
Ecclesbourne made it three wins out of three following a stunning 7-0 victory against South Norwood Primary school.
Ecclesbourne’s fantastic start to the netball season continued with a stunning 5-3 win for the A team.
Ecclesbourne began their netball season with a pair of stunning victories.

Yesterday, over 50 of our Year 1-4 children competed at the Croydon schools cross country event.
As part of their studies on places of worship the Year 3 children visited St John the Evangelist Church in Upper Norwood.
Year 5 started the new term with an exciting culinary lesson, where they created a fabulous fruit salad.
In Year Five, the children have been creating and performing ‘blackout’ Poetry using the book The Lost Words: A Spell Book by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris’.
Last Friday, Connemara Class in Year 4 performed an assembly in celebration of the Harvest Festival.
The gardening club at WHJUN has been out in force this week, picking up litter, weeding and planting daffodil bulbs on the edge of the field for us all to enjoy in the Spring.
As part of our continued commitment to reading and phonics, we were delighted to take delivery this week of even more books to support the delivery of our Little Wandle Phonics programme.
Year 5’s Akai stunned his rivals with a famous victory at Croydon’s prestigious interschool cross country competition.
Ecclesbourne boys’ football team stormed to an overwhelming victory last week against Chestnut Park School.
This week at Atwood a group of Year 5 children are being put through their paces on their bikes.
