The EPS boys’ football team stormed to victory against Whitehorse Juniors yesterday.
This week we had a very special assembly delivered by our Junior Travel Ambassadors showing us how to stay safe on the roads and launching their road safety competitions.
Today has been a super, comfortable day for everyone at Cypress Primary, as we all came into school wearing our cosiest pyjamas and onesies in order to raise money for Children in Need.
At the Upper School this week, we have been thinking about kindness and how random acts of kindness can make recipients feel.
This week we have been introduced to a new learning power – interdependence.
On Remembrance Day everyone in Britain is asked to remember the sacrifices made by others during times of war.
It has been an incredibly busy – but super fun – week for us in Y5.
Yesterday, we learned about Diwali and the significance of the festival of light and have listened to Hindu stories.
This week was Black History Week at Cypress. We have enjoyed our daily ‘storyteller sessions’, with a new story teller each day.
Wow! What a fantastic week we have had. Staff and pupils have been celebrating Black History Month in a myriad of exciting and creative ways.

Runners representing EPS put on an excellent performance at this week’s Croydon Cross Country Competition.
Today, the school council held their first, official meeting, where the children were able to share their hopes for this year.
What a delight to welcome Alim Kamara – storyteller extraordinaire, master of motivation and all-round good guy – back to Whitehorse Manor Junior School.
