Year 2 have been exploring habitats as part of their science topic. They enjoyed a visited to Morden Hall Park where they looked at invertebrates on land and in the water. Children river dipped for the first time, finding creatures like damselfly nymphs and water spiders. They hunted in the woodland and under logs to find creatures like woodlice and slugs. There was enough time to play in the natural play area too. Everyone had a great day!
