EPS – MP Sarah Jones visits Ecclesbourne
Ecclesbourne were delighted to host Sarah Jones, Labour MP for West Croydon and Minister of Industry.

Last week, all the children at Ecclesbourne Primary School participated in the NSPCC’s Speak Out, Stay Safe programme.
This half term Year 2 have been learning about materials in Science.
In yellow class, it has been an exciting adventure this week with our learning as we used our writing, creativity, maths, and imagination skills in some delightful activities.
This term, Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed their art learning. We revisited colour mixing using watercolours and thought about what colours would be used to create a fiery picture.
Early this morning, before the crowds appeared, we took a walk around our Beulah Museum.
Last week, all of the reception children performed in their Christmas Concert.
Harrisons did us proud with our Christmas lunch! The children enjoyed special Christmas table settings, a lovely Christmas lunch and some Christmas music!

Year 2 are reaching the end of their Thematic topic ‘The Terrible Tudors’ and to celebrate our learning we held a Tudor Day yesterday.
Over the past few weeks, Year 2 have been looking at the work of artist Hans Holbein.
Year 2 have loved reading Roald Dahl’s The Twits. It may be an old book, but it’s definitely a gold book.
Last week, Year 2 visited Hampton Court Palace as we have been learning about the Tudors in our Thematic lessons.
