Today in Year 2 we celebrated the end of our Thematic Topic, ‘The Terrible Tudors’. Some of us dressed up and we shared a banquet with a very special visitor. We were surprised that Henry VIII joined us, although he didn’t stay for food, as we know he preferred to eat in private. Our learning this term has taken us on a trip to Hampton Court Palace where were were able to explore one of Henry’s most famous residences. We have used our creativity to sketch and paint our own Tudor portraits and discovered the reasons behind Henry having so many wives. It has been such a fun term of learning!
