This week year 2 had a visit from Nabhi who engaged us in a wonderful workshop about the Hindu festival Diwali. He told us the story of Rama and Sita and invited some of us to take part in acting out the story. We really enjoyed dressing up in the bright and colourful costumes. He shared with us how Hindus celebrate Diwali and we enjoyed looking at photos of rangoli patterns and diva lamps. Afterwards, we enjoyed making our own diva lamps using clay.
