Whitehorse Infants would like to introduce this year’s Eco Friends! They have made a great start by completing an Environmental Review of the school to look at what areas we are doing well in and what areas we can improve. This year they will continue to focus on litter and will conduct more litter picks both in the school grounds and in our local community. They will also continue to focus on improving the biodiversity on the school grounds, including creating a bug hotel. A new topic for this year will be Transport and they will focus on trying to improve the amount of active and sustainable transport used by our school community.
We would like to welcome our new Eco Friends team and look forward to seeing all of your projects that you work on this year to maintain the school as a Green Flag Eco School!
