As Year 2 come towards the end of their Thematic Unit ‘The Terrible Tudors’, they celebrated their learning with Tudor Day.

As Year 2 come towards the end of their Thematic Unit ‘The Terrible Tudors’, they celebrated their learning with Tudor Day.
There was a real reading buzz in classrooms last week as parents were invited to come into school and read with their child.
Whether it’s lacing up fresh trainers before a match, hearing the roar of the crowd as you step onto the pitch, nailing a perfect shot or celebrating a last-minute win with your teammates — how would you describe the ultimate sports moment?
This week in Gold Class we have been extending on from our colour topic and have been doing lots of experiments with colours.
Over the last 2 weeks in nursery we have been learning all about colours.
This week in Reception, we created our own version of Naughty Bus.
Year 2 classes across Whitehorse have been privileged to visit Hampton Court Palace this week.
It was lovely to see all the children back and ready to learn after their half term break.
This week in Reception, we loved using The Naughty Bus in our learning.
Since returning from half term the corridors in Year 2 have been heard roaring with laughter, squealing with delight and gasping in horror as children have discovered Roald Dahl’s terrible twits.
Year 1 had an out-of-this -world day during our Neil Armstrong Drama Workshop!
This week in Reception we used the book, “The Leaf Thief” to help our Reception children learn about autumn.
We have been reading the story book ‘Peace at Last’ in Gold Class over the last couple of weeks.
In Reception, we used the book Funnybones during literacy lessons to help develop children’s language and storytelling skills.
