The Royal Institute came to visit Whitehorse Manor Infants! We were excited to watch the science presentation on ‘Explosive Food’ and learn about its often explosive nature.
The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at Whitehorse Manor Infants! Books are individually priced and will be available to buy in the Infant Hall tomorrow from 8:30am and on Wednesday 30th March before and after school.
In our literacy lessons, Year 1 have been reading CHALK by Bill Thompson.
On Friday, we took part in Red Nose Day and raised money for Comic Relief who have a vision of a world free of poverty.
This week in Nursery we have been learning all about how we can keep healthy.
This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Zog and the Flying Doctors’ by Julia Donaldson.
Last week in Nursery we read the story ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk.’ We arrived at Nursery one morning to find that an enormous beanstalk had appeared with some giant boots at the top, we discussed who we thought the boots could belong to and then read the story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk.’
Year 2 have had a fantastic week of creating and performing nonsense poems.
Last week in Nursery we read the story book ‘Willbee the Bumblebee.’
What a magical day Friday was celebrating World Book Day at Whitehorse Manor Infants!
All of us have had such fun dressing up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day.
Whitehorse Manor Infants were fortunate enough to be visited this week by Michael De Souza, co-author of the book series Rastamouse!
