WHINF – Reception World Book Day!
What an amazing week Reception have had! Monday was World Book Day and we all dressed up as characters from our favourite story!
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

Yesterday, children at Whitehorse Manor Infants celebrated World Book Day. It was great to see all the children dressed up in their favourite book characters.
This week Year 2 were able to bring their Thematic topic alive by visiting London.
Over the past few weeks, reception have been preparing for our very exciting ‘Museum Day’!
We arrived at nursery one morning this week to find that someone had made a mess!
Many parents were amazed at the incredible displays of work at Whitehorse Manor Infants for ‘Museum day’.
This half term, children from across all the Pegasus schools came together to perform poems in front of a panel of judges.
This week in nursery we have loved joining in with the traditional tale, The Three Little Pigs.
This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Bog Baby’ by the author Jeanne Willis.
Over the past two days, we welcomed parents and carers from our Year 2 and Reception classes to our Reading Café.
Last week in nursery we were still immersing ourselves in the traditional tale, The Gingerbread Man.
In reception this week we have been learning about Chinese New year.
What a fun filled day Reception had on Monday! We were fortunate enough to have a special visit from Professor Bubble Works who helped us make slime!
Since their return to school after the break, Year 2 have immersed themselves in a Design Technology project based around biscuits.
