Today, the children in Ash class enjoyed a Tudor Day! They had a busy day that involved welcoming and interviewing a King, performing, dressing up and creating their own Tudor portraits.
Thank you to all the parents, carers and children who attended the initial meeting about the Year 6 residential trip 2022-23 last night.
The Year 6 team are very excited to announce that this academic year’s residential trip for Year 6 has been finalised!
What a great week it’s been in school! We’ve enjoyed odd sock day to celebrate uniqueness, had a Pudsey Bear hunt and biscuit sale for charity and generally enjoyed basking in the warm and friendly atmosphere that’s been promoted through discussions around being a good friend and showing we care.
Today, years 3-6 at Brigstock thoroughly enjoyed taking part in workshops for the Lion King!
Yesterday, staff and children at Brigstock and WHJUN main site celebrated uniqueness by wearing odd socks.
Today, staff and children took part in a moving remembrance assembly and observed a two minutes silence.
This week, the year 3 children from Whitehorse Manor Junior and Brigstock site went on a trip to Crystal Palace park.
Extra bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III As a result of the announcement by the Prime Minister allowing another bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III the term dates for the schools in the Pegasus Academy Trust have now been changed.
Year 6 have had a whirlwind of a week and a brilliant end to our half term.
Year 3 have been really enjoying learning about dinosaurs in reading, literacy and thematic.
This half term, year 3 have undertaken a cross-curricular exploration of dinosaurs.
One of the advantages to being part of a Multi Academy Trust is that all staff are part of a much bigger team than they would be in a single ‘standalone’ school.
