BINF-Year 1 visited Thornton Heath Recreational Ground
Our Year 1 classes had a fantastic time this week, visiting Thornton Heath Recreational Ground and looking for geographical features on the way.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Our three Year 1 classes visited the park this week, as part of their thematic learning about geographical features in the local area.
It was simply delightful to meet the newly elected members of year 6 School Council 24-25.
On the 24th July 2024 the School Council Team at Whitehorse Manor Juniors have formed a ‘Well-being Committee’.

Last week, reception got to go on a mini adventure to Crystal Palace Park Farm and what a fantastic day we all had!
This year, all classes have been learning about ‘money.’ They have all had the opportunity to take part in learning activities from ‘RedSTART’.
This term, Gold Class have a very special ‘Share a Story’ session every Wednesday morning.
Last week, the reception children said goodbye to their class butterflies!

All of the children in year one and year two had great fun on their sports days on Tuesday, even though the sun failed to arrive!
