EPS Year 6 netball squad vs. EPS Teachers On Friday 18th March, the Year 6 Netball Squad played a netball match against the teachers in a Red Nose Day charity match.
On Tuesday, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Associate Director, Musical Director and Choreographer for Matilda the Musical joined us for two workshops/auditions.
We have continued to think about meta-learning this week. In particular, we have been thinking about which learning powers are the most useful in specific tasks, for example in a revision task, we would need to capitalise, make links and use interdependence (consider whether it is better to work alone or with others).
Reception have been looking at the topic ‘People who help us’ and have been discussing what they want to do as a job when they grow up!
This week we have been learning all about the life-cycle of a frog and naming the stages of its growth; frogspawn, tadpole, froglet and frog.
What is your favourite drink? Asteroids carried out a survey asking children and adults around the school what their favourite drink was.
Just as we thought Spring had finally sprung, the chill, wind and even snow returned to remind us that Mother Nature had other ideas!
Green class amazed their Parents and Carers this week, taking us on an adventure across the sea linking to their learning in Literacy.
Recently, Year 3 children created their own reports about their visit to see ‘real-life’ cavemen and women Cave People at Ecclesbourne Primary School.
This week Year 2 at Cypress Primary visited London and we walked well over 13,000 steps in total!

This week Reception have delighted in taking part in a range of creative activities to represent the beginning of the new season, spring!
