WHJUN does World Book Day 2023
Today we celebrated World Book Day at Whitehorse Manor Junior School with some very well disguised pupils and staff members.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

We said goodbye to our lovely colleague Mrs. Sales at Ecclesbourne on Friday as she leaves us for retirement by the sea.
This week Year 2 were able to bring their Thematic topic alive by visiting London.

This week we welcomed TFL to our school to educate the Year 6’s about safety when taking public transport.
Children from across the school were treated to an oral health and hygiene workshop today.
Mrs Hutchinson has long coordinated the Books for Africa scheme which sees books that are no longer being used at Atwood being sent to Africa so that children there can learn to read.
Some parents from the Gold class have participated in ‘Bookstart’ workshops.
