It was a pleasure accompanying Year 6 on the annual visit to Chessington World of Adventures on Wednesday 6th July.
A big Cypress well done to Evie, Maxwell, Sebastian, Raymond and Pablo for their efforts to support those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
Children got the surprise of their lives when they got to meet Ava, a half girl half osprey, from a story they read in class before visiting the London Wetlands Centre.
Year 2 had a wonderful visit to Broadstairs beach this week.
Last week, Year 6 travelled to Chessington World of Adventures. We had a wonderful day swooping through the air like bats on the Vampire ride, spinning and twisting on the Cobra and being swung like pirates on the Blue Barnacle.
Well done to Yellow class who performed amazingly in their class assembly, sharing their learning about minibeasts.
We had such fun in the nursery last week, we were learning all about the environment.
EPS shone in last week’s prestigious Croydon Interschool Athletics Competition. Following a two year hiatus, the children could not wait to return to the summer showpiece and there were some fantastic results.
Children and families alike had a fantastic time at this week’s sports days.
Yesterday and today have been our Upper School Sports Days. We have had tremendous fun!
Today was the day when our ‘decennial’ (it means every 10 years – I Googled it!)
