Year 2 are learning about animals including humans in science. Over the past few weeks they have been learning about the different food groups and how we need to eat food from each of the food groups in order for our bodies to grow strong and healthy.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the meeting last night all about our residential camping trip to Cuffley!
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Year 1 curriculum meeting this morning.
On Friday 20th September, Brigstock celebrated Jeans for Genes Day. Everyone (Including staff) came dressed to school in as much denim as possible.
What an incredible week we had during our Genes for Jeans event at school!
We want to say a big welcome to all of our new pupils and their families in our Nursery.
This week, our teachers have delivered parent Curriculum Workshops for all year groups.
It has been a very busy week at Cypress with all the children enjoying learning in their new classes and making leaps in their learning.
Today, the children and staff of Ecclesbourne put their best denim-clad foot forward in support of Jeans for Genes, raising a fantastic £236 for the charity!
Settling in,,,,, Another fabulous week has whizzed past in Little Cypress!
We are now well and truly back in to the swing of things at school and the children have been immersing themselves in the new learning in their year groups.
As you are hopefully aware, the deadline for applying for a secondary school for your child to attend in September 2025 is fast approaching.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to attend Year 2’s curriculum meeting.
Congratulations to our newly-elected Ecclesbourne school councillors. It was wonderful to see how many children put themselves forward for this responsibility – the successful candidates were voted in by their classmates after sharing their views on how they can support the school community.
