We have had yet another busy and fun-packed week in Little Cypress!
What a fabulous week at Cypress! We began the week at the Upper by thinking about whether we plan for success.
Yesterday, we all woke up to a white suprise – everywhere was covered in snow!
Back in 2020, in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic, a global movement came together in the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd.
In reception, we are learning all about people who help us in our communities this half term.
Congratulations to all the parents who completed the Ecclesbourne Family Learning (ESOL) Course run by CALAT.
Mathletics (our Key Stage 2 online maths program) are hosting their own World Maths Day this week and here at Ecclesbourne the children are limbering up for the big day!
Value your Achievements- this article links with Atwood’s children focussing on the Value of Mutual Respect and the celebration of diversity.
Over half term, we asked you to encourage your children to have a go at creating a ‘Book in a Box.’
For the last two weeks we have been reading the story book ‘Willbee the Bumblebee.’
As part of last week’s reading celebrations each class chose and, with the help of their adults, created a book cover for each of their classroom doors – these were all too lovely not to share.
Last week, the Reception team worked hard to bring the feeling of spring to our outdoor area.
This term our topic in Reception is ‘To The Rescue!’. We are looking at all of the ways people help us when we are in emergency situations.
Congratulations to Venus, Comets and Shuttles who each won the reading competition for their age group!
