It has been another busy week at Atwood. After the corridors being empty last week, it is great to walk through the Early Years and hear the chatter and buzz of children in the classrooms.

It has been another busy week at Atwood. After the corridors being empty last week, it is great to walk through the Early Years and hear the chatter and buzz of children in the classrooms.
One of our Year 3 pupils was busy through the summer on an inspiring fundraising mission.
It was lovely to welcome our pupils back last week in blazing sunshine and I’d like to extend a huge welcome to our new Year 3 classes, who have already been demonstrating great learning behaviours in their first week with us.
A huge welcome back to all of our children and families, and a special welcome to our new starters.
Our new Reception children have made a fantastic start to the school year and are wasting no time getting stuck in exploring their environment.
It’s been a fabulous (and incredibly hot!) week at Cypress as we’ve welcomed back children in Years 1 to 6.
Welcome back! What a lovely week to start the term and my time at Atwood.
Parents and carers will have become aware of the current issue with some schools in the UK that have buildings made of RAAC – Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete.
Last Thursday our Year 2 classes performed their Leavers’ Assembly to Reception, Year 1 and their past teachers in the morning.
This term we had another successful trip to the beach with year 2.
It was a real pleasure to watch Ms Hall’s send off from Brigstock today.
It’s always an emotional last day when we say goodbye to our Year 6 classes.
It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another school year.
Mr Veale’s welcome It’s the last day of term and the last day for Year 6, as well as being the last day for a few other children in other year groups.
Year 2’s final DT project of the year has been ‘Puppets’.
