It has been a very busy week this week at Cypress.
In a week when the sun shone and we managed to get back on the field at lunchtimes, the children have been busy in their classrooms.
Celebrating Red Nose Day for Comic Relief We had a fun and exciting day today for Red Nose Day, raising money for Comic Relief.
Phonics: Our initial sound in phonics this week has been ‘r’.
This week, in Reception, the children learned all about medical professionals.
Today, we celebrated Comic Relief’s Red Nose day! Children and staff came dressed in as much red as possible, in order to raise money for charity.
This week, the children in Year Five have been on their residential trip to Carroty Wood.
Cypress School choir shone brightly at the CSMA Junior Festival – Annual Festival of Music, themed United in Song.
This term, Reception is learning all about the different people who help us in our community.
At Pegasus we believe that all children can achieve in maths.
The reception children had an exciting visit from local firefighters. They were very keen to learn more about what firefighters do to keep up safe.
Spring has (almost) Sprung! Finally, at least at certain times in the week, Spring has sprung!
This week at the Lower School, we have finished learning about empathy.
Story of the week This week in Nursery, we have been reading the story ‘The Tweeny, Weeny, Tadpole’ by Sheridan Cain.
As part of our topic ‘To the Rescue!’, we have continued looking at the book ‘Supertato’.
