WHINF Busy Bees in Gold class!
We have had a busy couple of weeks in nursery reading the story book ‘Willbee the Bumblebee.’
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

It has been a busy week at Cypress with lots of visits and learning taking place.
Phonics: Our initial sound in phonics this week has been ‘h’.
Last week, our children came into school wearing their finest party clothes in order to raise money for others.
This week we looked at the book, ‘Clean Up!’. In it we saw that our oceans are not as clean as we thought they were and that the rubbish they are being filled with is harming the animals who live in them.
As ever, there has been lots going on at Atwood this week.
FOBBS (Figures of Black British Society) is an educational app that showcases Black British figures.
This week, year 3 visited Buddhapadipa Temple, in Wimbledon. Thankfully, the weather was on our side and the sun made its appearance!

Over the last few weeks, Year 2 have been immersed in the book ‘The Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes.
Atwood Year 5 go to Carroty Wood! On the 17th March, the children from Y5 travelled to Carroty Wood, an outdoor activity centre in Tonbridge.

On Monday 24th March 2025, the members of Atwood’s School Council visited the Houses of Parliament.
Alysia Antwi, in Oak class (Year 6), has blown us away with her swimming prowess.
Last Friday saw an action-packed end to the week as our EPS netballers took on the staff at home followed by two teams from Norbury Manor.
