This week the children in Reception have been looking at the book ‘Granny went to market’.
We’ve had another busy and productive week at Cypress Lower School.
This week in nursery we have been reading the book ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?’
Christmas is fast approaching and Reception have been getting into the Christmas spirit by taking part in lots of exciting crafty activities.
This week in Year 1, we have been using our knowledge of the moon to create a factual pamphlet.
Last week, Mathletics (our online maths programme) held the National Numeracy Challenge – a week long competition where pupils scored points against other pupils in a worldwide competition.
Over the last couple of weeks, Year 6 have been studying the text ‘Varmints’ by Helen War and Marc Craste.
This time last week, Meteors and Asteroids classes were heading off to visit Crystal Palace Park.
Year 2 have been thoroughly enjoying the story ‘Traction Man is Here’ by Mini Grey.
Today has been a super, comfortable day for everyone at Cypress Primary, as we all came into school wearing our cosiest pyjamas and onesies in order to raise money for Children in Need.
This week at WHINF we have been celebrating friendship week. We kicked off the week by wearing odd socks to celebrate our uniqueness.
What great fun our Year 1 classes had on their day at the Science Museum!
At the Upper School this week, we have been thinking about kindness and how random acts of kindness can make recipients feel.
