CYP – Explorers at Morden Hall Park
Last week, year 2 children at Cypress travelled on the bus and tram to visit Morden Hall Park.

We have had a week full of reflection, in particular considering how best to show that you care about others.
At our most recent sporting event, children were exposed to a new format of cricket – Dynamo Cricket.
It’s been amazing to welcome back our children and families after half term.
In Little Cypress we have been learning all about how plants grow, inspired by books such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Jasper’s Beanstalk and Titch.
The new playground at Grangewood Park has its official launch this Saturday, 11th June, between 10am and 12 midday.

Welcome Back! We have had a great first week back at Nursery this week.
We were delighted to kick start our final half term in Year 3 with a magician who visited all of our schools as part of our new Literacy book “Leon and the Place Between”.
This week in Reception we were fortunate enough to have a very exciting visit from ‘Zoo Lab’!
We were very excited to have one of our parents come into school to read a familiar story to our children in her home language.
Year 3 have been busy soap knapping to make their very own Stone Age tools.
The Djembe Kings were at it again, this time, at Croydon’s Performing Arts Festival in Fairfield Halls.
The Djembe Flames ended their half term with their first ever djembe concert at Fairfield halls.
