This week we welcomed back Reception and jumped straight into our new topic ‘Once upon a time’. We started the topic off with the classic story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. The children took part in many themed activities such as creating art work of the forest, writing lists of food to bring to Grandma and also acting out the story using puppets. At the end of the week we had a very exciting visitor, The Big Bad Wolf! We practised asking the wolf who, what, where, when, why and how questions. He wasn’t as scary as we thought and we had a great time meeting him. What would you ask the big bad wolf?
