EPS – NSPCC and Safer Internet Day
Last week, all the children at Ecclesbourne Primary School participated in the NSPCC’s Speak Out, Stay Safe programme.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

In yellow class, it has been an exciting adventure this week with our learning as we used our writing, creativity, maths, and imagination skills in some delightful activities.
In Reception this week, we read the book, ‘Peepo’ by Janet and Allan Ahlberg.
This term in Reception, we had an exciting visit from a scientist named Professor Bubbleworks!
Marvellous Museum Day! What an incredible display of talent we had on show today for our Museum Day!

Year of the Snake 2025 Chinese New Year falls on the 29th January this year and it is the Year of the Snake.
The last two weeks, nursery have been focusing on the book ‘The Gingerbread Man’ by Alan MacDonald and what fun we have had!
This week in Reception, all of the children turned into scientists!
Welcome Back to Spring 1, 2025! How wonderful to see the children in Rainbows and Nursery back in Little Cypress, brimming with stories from the Christmas holidays and happy to see their friends and get back in to the school routines!
The topic for this half-term in Reception is ‘Watch out—there’s a monster about!’
Last week, all of the reception children performed in their Christmas Concert.
How wonderful that our Nursery children were able to get out in to the community today to bring joy to some elderly residents at a local care home!
