This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Bog Baby’ by the author Jeanne Willis. At the beginning of the week the children made predictions of what they thought Bog Baby looked like before seeing a picture of him. Once they saw a picture of him they had a go at drawing and labelling their own Bog Baby and they also made Bog Babies out of playdough! We have some fantastic artists here in Reception! Reception have also been learning about our number bonds to 5 this week, singing the very catchy song ‘5 little speckled frogs’. All of the children enjoyed singing along and recalling our number bonds out loud! Do you know your number bonds to 5?
