What an incredible week we had during our Genes for Jeans event at school! We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to all the generous contributions, we raised an impressive £144 for this wonderful cause. These donations make a real difference to the lives of children and adults affected by genetic disorders.
Thank you to everyone who participated, whether by wearing their favourite jeans or bringing in donations. The spirit of our school community truly shone through, and it is heart-warming to see how we all came together for such an important cause.
Don’t forget to look at our amazing pictures showcasing the unique jeans that each class decorated, whilst working as a team! The creativity and effort put into personalising their jeans were truly brilliant and inspiring. From bright colours to fantastic designs, our children really showed their support and care for this charity.
One of the children from Yellow Class said, “I brought my £1 to school today for wearing my jeans to help the charity!” Another child from Lilac Class said “We made our jeans in all different colours to show that we are all different.”
As a school, we are proud to be working as ‘Pegasus People’ to show that we care and want to make a positive impact!
