Last week, Beulah children had an explosive visit from the Royal Institute! The Royal Institute is a charity dedicated to connecting people with the world of science and provides opportunities for teachers and the wider community to make science investigations fun and accessible. The school applied for, and successfully won, an award for a science grant, so this thrilling visit was fully funded! Our children were enthralled as they watched exciting chemistry and physics demonstrations to found out about the incredible amount of energy that is contained in the food that goes into their mouths. Many parents came in to join the children for the community demonstration and observed a rocket launch, much to the delight of the children!
