What a wonderful week of stories, poems and books across all the Pegasus schools.

Today at Ecclesbourne we were very lucky to have published author, Kimba, visit and work with our upper Key Stage 2 children.

Year 6 were lucky enough to visit the National Gallery in central London last week to launch our new topic, ‘Greece is the Word’!

Young mathematicians from across Key Stage 2 at EPS have been attending Mrs Springall and Mrs Stutter’s Marvellous Maths club on a Monday after school.

As part of our Book Week celebrations, another fantastic author visited Ecclesbourne today. 

We started our World Book Day celebrations with a fantastic visit from Joshua Seigal. 

Children from across the school were treated to an oral health and hygiene workshop today. 

Today our lovely school was completely transformed into an exciting museum with interesting artefacts round every corner.

On Tuesday this week it was Safer Internet Day.  All the children joined an assembly by Mr Francis focusing on this year’s theme of ‘Want to Talk About It?’. 

In year 3 we have been studying variations of the Cinderella story.  

At Ecclesbourne, we love reading and we thought what better way to celebrate the upcoming World Book Day than by running an exciting reading competition!

This term Little Ecclesbourne has been learning lots of Fairy Tales. 

​Preparations are well under way for Museum Day, which takes place across Pegasus schools next Friday (10th February) In the attached photo, you will see Comets class at EPS have begun painting their Roman shields.

Year 5 had a fantastic day out yesterday at London’s famous British Museum. 

Children in Year 4 at EPS have been learning to multiply using practical resources and by working together in pairs.
