CYP Lower-Hands on at the Horniman museum
Our children had a fantastic day at the Horniman Museum.

It has been another busy and productive week at Cypress and the children have all been working hard and making good progress in their learning.
Growing and Learning It’s been ‘all grow’ in Little Cypress this week!
A Tea Party fit for a King and Queen We have enjoyed another short week following the Coronation Bank Holiday on Monday, but have packed in so much learning in the remaining four days.
This week has been a very busy week at Cypress with children working hard and showing resilience in all areas of their learning.
As part of the Year 3 Thematic topic, Like A Rolling Stone, we were visited by two people from the Mesolithic period of the Stone Age.
Although this week has been shorter than usual, it has been really busy and we have all been working very hard in all areas of our learning.
Commemorating the Coronation This week in Little Cypress has been awash with red, white and blue with lots of Coronation activities to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III, which is happening tomorrow, Saturday 6th May, at Westminster Abbey.

Today, Year 5 were lucky enough to experience some incredible STEM workshops delivered by Robyn from Procur3d Consulting Ltd.
Learning to listen and listening to learn Another busy week has flown by in Little Cypress and the children in Rainbows and Nursery have been thinking carefully about using their listening and looking skills to become fantastic learners!
It has been another super week of learning at Cypress with the children all making good progress and showing great pride in their learning.
Dear Year 6 parents and carers, Following some requests, please find attached a presentation explaining all about this year’s Key Stage 2 SATs tests which Year 6 children will be sitting from Tuesday 9th May to Friday 12th May.
It has been a fantastic first week back and the children and staff have all returned refreshed and ready for a new term.
How incredible to think that we are now in the Summer Term!
