A fantastic week at Cypress
We are so proud of how our youngest children in Rainbows, Nursery and Reception have been settling into their new classes.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.
Positions are available immediately or from September. If you would like more information or just to chat informally please contact Lynne Sampson, one of our Executive Principals on recruitment@pegasusacademytrust.org
We are so proud of how our youngest children in Rainbows, Nursery and Reception have been settling into their new classes.
It’s been a fabulous (and incredibly hot!) week at Cypress as we’ve welcomed back children in Years 1 to 6.
Parents and carers will have become aware of the current issue with some schools in the UK that have buildings made of RAAC – Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete.
Last Thursday our Year 2 classes performed their Leavers’ Assembly to Reception, Year 1 and their past teachers in the morning.
It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another school year.
We all like to visit the seaside and Year 2 did just that.
Last Friday we were all singing in the rain as Sports Day continued despite the Summer showers.
Who knows all about invertebrates and where to find them? The answer – Year 2, of course.
Superheroes take over in Little Cypress! What a heroic and fun week we have had in Little Cypress!
This week at the Upper School we have been reflecting on how capable we are reflecting on our ability to collaborate.
What a way to close off an amazing musical year! The choirs from both Cypress and Ecclesbourne joined forces last Wednesday to perform as the ‘Pegasus Academy Choir’ at the Schools Concert in Crystal Palace Park.
We hope everyone has had a great week and we’re looking forward to seeing children and families at the PTFA Summer Celebration tomorrow (Saturday 8th July, 2-7pm).
Thank you to those who attended our Coffee Morning on Tuesday 4th July.
Even though the children did not head off camping, they still found time for some creative thinking, collaboration, life skills and plenty of exercise!
This week we have all been working hard and focusing on our learning so that we can reach our full potential.
