ATW Early Years news – Bog babies and little pigs
The children in the early years are well and truly settled and the progress they are making is a joy to see.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

The snow is melting, flowers are blooming, and the days are getting warmer.
On Tuesday, Year 1 had a brilliant morning discovering new and exciting facts about toys from the past.
There has been some great learning at Atwood this week. The children in Early Years have been exploring Monsters and learning about the Three Little Pigs.
There has been a lot of creative and physical development occurring in the early years this week.
Year 6 Join the Young Voices Choir at the O2 The children in Year 6 have been working hard over the last few months to be ready to take part in Young Voices, the largest children’s choir concert in the world!
As ever, It has been a busy week at Atwood. The children in Early Years have been exploring in the cold weather.

After what has seemed a particularly long term, I am pleased to say that we have finally made it to the Christmas break.
On Thursday, the whole school enjoyed a riotous performance of Treasure Island.
Singing could be heard all over the early years during the last few weeks as everyone prepared for this weeks performances.
This week has seen Atwood take to the stage with 7 Christmas performances and a Rock and Roll concert from Rocksteady.
It has been a week of wonderful shows at Atwood with 7 performances across a range of classes and ages.
On Wednesday, Year 2 had their ‘Tudor Day’. All the children made a fantastic effort with their costumes and really looked the part!
Shadufs As part of their design and technology learning, the children in Year 6 have been making shadufs.
