What a fantastic start to the half term we have had!

Today, Gold class had a special visit from an Oral Health practitioner from King’s College.

Year 4 had a fantastic session with the school’s head chef, Morad, who gave them a lively reminder about the Eatwell Plate and introduced them to the importance of using their senses when exploring food.

Our Year 1 classes had an amazing day during their trip to the Moon. 

Our Year 6 pupils had an exciting and educational day out at Kew Gardens, where they took part in a fascinating workshop on Evolution and Adaptation—perfectly complementing their science topics Evolution and Inheritance and Living Things and Their Habitats.

Red for Remembrance  What a poignant and thought provoking week we have had in Little Cypress!

On Friday, children and staff wore odd socks to school, to show it’s great to be different!

This week has been a very busy week at Cypress with lots of different events taking place.

Year 2 classes across Whitehorse have been privileged to visit Hampton Court Palace this week.

It was lovely to see all the children back and ready to learn after their half term break.

This week in Reception, we loved using The Naughty Bus in our learning.

This week, we have been celebrating friendship week. We started the week with an assembly all about friendship, the importance of having friends and  we discussed the qualities of a  good friend?

This week, in amongst all of our lessons, we managed to find the time to stop and reflect with a two minutes silence on Tuesday.

We have been celebrating Friendship Week at EPS and exploring the theme for this year, ‘Power for Good’. 

Another fun week in Nursery!  On Tuesday, we had a visit from the Dentist.
