This year, all classes have been learning about ‘money.’ They have all had the opportunity to take part in learning activities from ‘RedSTART’. RedSTART is a charity for primary-school children which delivers financial education through progressive learning. We also held our ‘Enterprise Week’ last week. Our school council, supported by the teachers, discussed ideas for raising money in each class. All ideas were shared and then each class voted for their favourite activity. These activities took place throughout the week and included, face painting, dressing up, wearing odd shoes and own clothes days. We closed the week with a picnic on the field to celebrate Eid. The children all raised at least £30 for their own classes and are now thinking about how they can spend their money wisely!
