The week before half term was science week. Year 2 became Habitat Heroes as they discovered how habitats have changed over time. They learned about inventors such as Sam Teicher and Gator Halpern who have opened the world’s first coral farm. We then built our own bee hotels using art straws, recycled plastic bottles and string. Our hope is that we will be Habitat Heroes to some solitary bees out and about in Thornton Heath!
