This week is science week and reception have enjoyed engaging in lots of fun science experiments! The most popular experiment that took place in reception involved making butter out of cream! Before the experiment took place we made predictions about how long we might have to shake the jar of cream before it turns into butter and some of our predictions were correct! We also spoke about how cream is a liquid and butter is a solid and this experiment involved the cream changing from one state to another. The children really enjoyed shaking their jars of cream and watching it turn into butter! We even got to butter our bagels and have a taste! Well done reception!
