Year one had a brilliant start to their last week of this half term! Despite the rainy weather on Monday, they all set off with great excitement on their walk to Thornton Heath library. On their way, they made careful observations of the changes that autumn brings to our trees and plants. During their time in the library, they enjoyed browsing through and reading the huge choice of children’s books and to finish the trip they enjoyed the librarians very expressive storytelling. The library is an excellent and free activity to do with your children during the half term and they have special story times!
