ATW Nursery news – Pirates and transitions
What a lovely week we have had in Nursery. We have been looking at Jake’s first day, which has helped us to understand what will be happening when we start Reception in September.

Summer Goodbyes and Superheroes What a happy, fun and emotional week it has been here in Little Cypress!
Following on from last week, in Nursery we are still exploring the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean.’
We have had another busy week in Nursery. We have been reading the book ‘Commotion in the ocean’ in which the children have been trying to remember the different poems.
Looking forwards… The weeks are galloping on as we enter our final weeks before the holidays.
This year, all classes have been learning about ‘money.’ They have all had the opportunity to take part in learning activities from ‘RedSTART’.
This term, Gold Class have a very special ‘Share a Story’ session every Wednesday morning.
In Nursery we have been continuing to read the book ‘Tree’ and have had many discussions about what can be found in a forest.
Endings and New Beginnings It seems impossible to believe that we only have three weeks left of this Summer Term!
Farming Fun The children in Little Cypress have been continuing learning all about The Farm.
This week children in Nursery have been reading the book ‘Tree’.
Learning and Laughing Another fabulous week has whizzed by in Little Cypress!
Nursery has had a busy week! We have been reading ‘Snow Bears’ which encouraged us to make up actions for the games the bears were playing and made us think about different games we could play at nursery or home.
All of the children in our nursery and reception classes had wonderful sports days today.
Gold class are enjoying the summer term! The children have been busy planting and caring for the flowers that they have grown from seed.
