Last week, Year 6 travelled to Croydon Fire Station to take part in a range of activities promoting safety and awareness as well as supporting their transition into secondary school. The children spoke with police constables; learnt how to administer the recovery position in order to help anyone who has taken a fall; fire safety including what to do in case of a fire; awareness about drugs and alcohol and travelling safely on public transport. The sessions were very informative and immersive – as you can see the children had a great time!
