Our Black History Month celebration is always such a positive way to end the term. I have been really overwhelmed but the wonderful ‘family trees’ that pupils completed in response to our ‘reclaiming the narrative’ theme this week – such an array of families from all over the world. Today we wore something red to ‘show racism the red card’ and pupils in Year 6, including pupils from Brigstock, enjoyed a carnival parade around the school field, led by Mr Burrows having far too much fun on the drum. Have a wonderful half term and I look forward to seeing you when we return to school after the break.
