We were pleased to be visited today by Steve Reed, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice and MP for Croydon North, so that he could meet with our School Council to discuss local matters and tell them a little bit more about his work as our local MP. Ms Sunday reports that the children engaged very well and he was extremely impressed with their level of questioning. During the discussion about what changes the children would like to see in Croydon, Natalia mentioned more visually attractive alley ways and less rubbish, whilst Mara mentioned her concerns about homelessness and ways to solve this problem. Mr Reed will need to watch out for these rising stars of the political world!
