On Monday, the Whitehorse Manor Year 5 and 6 Athletics team competed at the Indoor Athletics Competition held at Lanfranc School. The 14 children competed in field events such as the standing long jump and triple jump, as well 12 track events. The Whitehorse team fought bravely and strongly in all the events and dominated on the track, where they won almost all of their 12 races, coming in fourth place overall in the competition. Well done to Ms Nwosu and Mr Bloomfield who have been training our team and we look forward to hearing more about their successes in the coming year.
