On Wednesday, Year 4 visited the Shree Ganapathy Temple in Thornton Heath to support their learning in RE.
They were welcomed by the priest Sri Prakash Giurukal, who gave an informative talk to the children. Each group had an opportunity to look around the temple and ask key questions.
One of the things the children learnt was- that the elephant God Ganesh actually has lots of other names.
The children were very interested to know that this beautiful temple had been built by specialist builders in the year 2000.
They all came away learning lots more information about the Temple. A great visit was had by all.
