WHINF – Terrible Tudors
Today in Year 2 we celebrated the end of our Thematic Topic, ‘The Terrible Tudors’.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Today in Year 2 we celebrated the end of our Thematic Topic, ‘The Terrible Tudors’.
The Infant Hall has been filled with the sound of singing this week as Reception, Years 1 and 2 took the spotlight in each of their Christmas concerts.
Our wonderful kitchen staff prepared a delicious feast for all of the children and staff today.
Over the last few weeks, our children have been working very hard to prepare for their Christmas performances.
We started the day at the Lower School today with a fabulous assembly from Ruby Class.

Road Safety Week We have been focusing on Road Safety this week at Cypress and the children have enjoyed learning more about keeping safe on our roads.
On Monday, we introduced our Anti-Bulling / Friendship Week by wearing odd socks to school and sharing what it means to be a good friend in our whole school assembly.
How odd! Today saw us celebrating our individuality by wearing odd socks and the children embraced this day in style.
Year 2 have been learning all about the Tudors and Henry VIII.
This week we have been learning about Armistice Day and Remembrance in our school.
Yesterday, over 50 of our Year 1-4 children competed at the Croydon schools cross country event.
The infant children remembered those who fought and gave their lives in battle, so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.
Who in our community helps keep us safe? The London Fire Brigade!
Thank you to all those who donated food for our Harvest Celebration and attended the year 1 and 2 assemblies.
