News Year 1

Parents and carers of our Year 1 and 2 classes were treated to some exceptional Christmas singing on Tuesday this week.

The cold snap brought the opportunity for the children at Ecclesbourne to get outside and play in the snow. 

Children throughout EPS have put on excellent performances in their respective Christmas shows. 

Our KS1 classes delivered two wonderful performances of the production ‘Lights, Camel, Action’ last week to very packed and appreciative audiences.

We were very excited to have one of our parents come into school to read a familiar story to our children in her home language.

This week all of the children at Whitehorse Infants proudly sang their hearts out in their Christmas Concerts.

On Tuesday, we had another very successful parent coffee morning.  This time we invited Barbara Allen from our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to come in and explain to our parents/carers what support they offer. 

Shooting Stars and Astronauts were lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit The Science Museum in London. 

Last week on ‘No Pens Day’, Year 1 were busy making their own moon buggies in DT.

At Beulah Infants, reading is always a top priority both in school and at home!

This week, we have had our ‘Road Safety Week’ at Beulah.

Ecclesbourne had the amazing opportunity to meet the author Banji Alexander. 

What a busy start to the term!   In Gold class, we are learning all about colours.
