As this week is poetry week, Reception have been looking at the poem ‘I am angry’ by the author Michael Rosen. The focus of the week has been for children to learn the first few lines of the poem and come up with their own actions as a class, which they then performed in small groups. The children have really enjoyed expressing their emotions through this performance and they also enjoyed exploring with colour mixing to paint an image of the ‘I am angry’ mouse.
