We have had a busy two weeks back at nursery. We have started our new topic for the term which is Traditional Tales. We have started with The Gingerbread Man, the children have been busy making gingerbread men and have immersed themselves in the book, learning the sequence of the story and the gingerbreads man’s chant “run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m The Gingerbread Man!” The children have enjoyed helping to turn the role play area into a castle and have been making each other royal feasts!. We have also been exploring the subject of longer and shorter and positional language for our maths work. We also couldn’t resist putting on our coats and going out to play in the short snow shower we had this week!!
