Over the last couple of weeks in nursery we have been further exploring colour and this week have been looking at experiments we can do with colour and seeing if we could guess the outcomes! The children have really enjoyed becoming scientists and were fascinated with the crayon melting and skittles experiments, using lots of new vocabulary such as ‘melting’ and ‘changing.’
In maths we have continued our focus on shapes and have been learning all about rectangles and in phonics we have been focusing on the sound ‘p.’ The children have enjoyed adding other objects to the sound box that start with the sound of the week.
