Whitehorse Infants welcomed a visitor from Beddington ERF on Thursday to deliver an assembly all about waste and recycling. Did you know that the majority of our waste is burned in a big incinerator and the heat is used to generate energy? We also found out all about recycling and what items we should be putting into our recycling bins. Make sure to ask your children all about the scrunch test to find out if an item can be recycled or not!
