What a busy start to the term! There has been lots going on in nursery over the last couple of weeks. We have been reading the story book ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk.’ The children have enjoyed planting their own beans and watching a bean grow (in fast forward!) and pretending to be beanstalks growing really high! We have been talking about the change in the weather and have really been enjoying the warmer weather.
It was lovely to see all the children dressed up as their favorite book characters or in their comfy clothes for World Book Day. A lovely author called Margaret Bateson-Hill visited us during Book Week and read her book ‘5 Little Ducks went out one day.’ The children really enjoyed the interactive experience and were particularly excited to find out where the ducks actually disappeared to!
