Last week, Year 3 were studying the fantastically evocative poem called ‘From a Railway Carriage’ by Robert Louis Stevenson. The children spent the week getting to know the poem by discussing the imagery, the rhythm and the rhyming couplets. We then practised reciting the poem using prosody (the patterns of stress and intonation used when reading). We hope that you enjoy these pictures and videos of our wonderful recitals.
