Our current Thematic topic in Year 3 is a local area study about Crystal Palace. This week, the children thought about what they already know about our wonderful area. They showed a lot of knowledge about Crystal Palace FC (Go Eagles!!!) and really enjoyed sharing stories of all the fun times that they have spent looking at t4he dinosaurs and playing in the sand pit in the park. We then read a book all about the actual Crystal Palace building and the Great Exhibition of 1851.
